Live Earth

So for those of you that have been living under a rock lately (ie: sitting in front of your playstation or computer and never watching the news are reading it online...), you probably don't know that Live Earth was yesterday. This was actually the largest viewed concert (they had good term for it, I forget) in HISTORY. And I bet you missed it....

But what I'm really upset about is the fact that newspapers and the media all over are trying to put it down. The purpose of the concert is to raise awareness to global warming and get people to start saving this place cause god knows, the way we work now, my generation may see the demise of the world as we know it. The whole concept scares the shit out of me, and yet I spent half the day/night watching it. They made a difference with me, that's for sure.

But the media... this is what really erks me. Every time I go and look through my google news feed I find a new article on speculation on whether live earth was really worth it, that it's all a bunch of bull, etc etc. Honestly, this is probably all because Al Gore is the one that's heading this.
