End of the Semester Blues

My intentions and regularity of this journal have changed quite a bit from when I started. I'm just going to roll with it.

The end of the semester is here and I'm in my normal end of the year rut. I'm doing what I can to enjoy my friends before they all leave but school work is getting in the way. My emotions are under control (for the most part) which is a drastic change from the norm. There's one major recurring thing in my life that is right now the only thing that will make me absolutely crazy. Of course, for that very reason, I will keep it a secret from most of the world.

Good things lately include flute and friends. I've made a lot of progress with my music in the last few weeks alone. Makes going into the summer that much more exciting. Reconcilling with old friends, also a plus. I haven't really realized that many of my closest friends will be leaving in just a few weeks. I'd rather not think about it.

Unfortunately, there's been the bad too. I hit a huge hole that mass highway made in my driveway and destroyed my tire. I went to get a new one and now the coil spring on my right wheel (my left was the one i destroyed) is broken and it's estimated at $1150 to fix. My car is barely worth $1500... My dad's pretty pissed.

On a lighter note. I'm really excited with what's to come from next semester. Some of my duties are lightened so I'm adding new things...or things from the past that I took out of my life because I was doing too much with the sisters to juggle everything. I just finished the pit for Company this semester and I realized how much I missed working with pit orchestras. We'll see what happens next semester tho! :) And this summer of course... :) The fall show has a possible conflict with the ummb's trip to montreal but i don't want to prioritize over this again. I missed it so much.
